1. Q: What makes your site different from other Coaching sites?

A: If you take a few minutes to check out Coachtastic, you will see that the overall design and layout of the site is quite distinct from any other coaching site on the internet. What makes Coachtastic appealing to the average person is its simplicity and ease of navigation. People simply search through the categories based on what they are dealing with in their lives and will be linked up with a selection of coaches who can best suit their needs. While there may be other mediums on the internet by which people can search for coaches, we are confident that Coachtastic has a superior design and is user-friendly enough to make the site appealing to absolutely anyone. One of the aims of Coachtastic is to break down the barriers of language and terminology exclusive to the coaching community so that the valuable help available becomes accessible to the average person. Hence, Coachtastic is focused around one simple question: What are you dealing with? Whether people are searching for a personal coach to deal with difficult life circumstances they are facing, or simply want someone to help them with their golf swing, Coachtastic aims to be the place where people can get the help they want with whatever they are dealing with.


2. Q: What are your criteria for allowing Coaches to post profiles on your site?

A: Coachtastic is open to anyone who would like to make a profile and offer their personal expertise. We will be screening every profile to make sure there are no fake or "spam" profiles on the site. It will be up to those seeking help to decide which coach would best suit their needs based on the profiles and credentials posted therein.


3. Q: What is your business model? How do you plan to monetize Coachtastic?

A: Using the basic features on Coachtastic will never cost users money. Coaches will be able to create and maintain profiles for free, and the general public will be able to search for help for free. We will always keep profile posting, browsing, and searching functions on the site free so as not to detract from our goal of help being available to all people who seek it. Eventually, we intend to generate revenue via advertisements and featured profile spots.


4. Q: Why are there so many categories on your site?

A: The reason we have so many categories on Coachtastic is that we want to make it an all-encompassing site where people can get help with just about anything they are dealing with in their lives. While your field(s) of expertise may be quite focused, there is still a place for you to create a profile on the site. In fact, if you offer a very specific type of coaching that most others on the site are not offering, you are more likely to generate new business and draw attention to yourself by virtue of your unique skills and expertise. We do not want to limit the scope and ability of Coachtastic to make a difference with what people are dealing with, and hence we have a broad range of categories and subcategories. This allows coaches to publicize their specific talents and expertise, and allows people to find help with the specific areas of life they are dealing with.
